A Church Dedication to Remember

Last Sunday on the 15th of November, Sure Foundation Lutheran Church dedicated its new building to the worship and praise of the Triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We expected around 100 people to participate in the service and meal. The day easily exceeded our expectations. Fellow Christians from Upstate New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and even Virginia joined our voices in praise at the worship service and dinner.

As our chapel filled with the praise of God’s people, it was hard not be overcome with thankfulness at God’s gifts to our church. We believe that it was the largest gathering of WELS Christians ever in New York City. Glory be to God!
