Youth Confirmation Class

This last week, Sure Foundation started its first ever youth confirmation class with five students from all over New York City. The classes take place during the early release hour of the New York City public schools. Parents please note that the start time for the classes is 3:30pm.

Confirmation literally means strengthening. It is the custom of the Lutheran church to teach its older church systematically the teachings of the Bible. In this way, the children are strengthened in their Christian lives and for eternity.

In their first class the children learned what God has done for them to save them. He lived. He died and he rose again. What a privilege for our church to teach these simple truths to young Christians.

Pray for these young children as they begin their studies and as they prepare themselves for Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
